A Toddler's Christmas

I was lucky enough to be able to take photos of my dear friends' baby girl, Savannah, for Christmas! She has always been such a happy baby and has so much personality.  I think that definitely shows in these photos! She is always so much fun to photograph and I'm happy to watch her grow up (even thought it's happening too quickly) and to be there to capture all her special moments! This is a large post, but, really how could I narrow it down?! She is just too cute!  Merry Christmas to my friends, Savannah and the C family!

So excited about reading...that's my girl!

 Love!

Christmas!

The Christmas season is here and I am loving every minute of it already!! A brand new living room and freshly decorated Christmas tree were just calling my name!! All the work of putting the room and tree together goes to the D family! You all did an amazing job. The room is so beautiful! I can't help stopping to look at it every time I pass! Wishing everyone the best holiday season this year!

I just love this quote and especially with the reflection of the Christmas tree!

My pretty books!

I love to read! These are some of my favorite books and I especially love the look of them! They look great against the distressed wood and with the sun making them glow!! I just love it all!!

IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

I have been to many, many weddings these past few years.  Each one with it's own style. Some were very formal, some colorful, some simple, some casual.  I loved every one of them. The thing that really made them stand apart from each other were all the details.  Every bride (or groom, mom, wedding planner, best friend, ect..) agonizes over hundreds of little details that, to some people, might go unnoticed or unappreciated.  Well, I am here telling you all...I LOVE THE DETAILS! I love the different colors of the flowers, the center pieces, tux designs, shoes, favors, cake designs, everything! There are so many different ways to go about them all; even when you don't have a lot of details, the simplicity of the wedding itself is a detail! And I have seen so many, from hand made center pieces, mason jars (my favorite), homemade favors (like Limocello!) and a that fun cake topper to show your personalities, to remembering a lost loved one, family pieces that have been on wedding cakes of many weddings before yours, and that bit of sparkle to make your day extra special.
So, this post is all about the little things that make your special day really show off you! It's to all of you that spent all those hours trying to find, or make, that extra special something that means so much to you. And it's to let you know, it means so much to me too!
