Wedding Inspiration

So, one of my "new year resolutions" is to photograph more regularly and, with that, blog it more regularly.  Well, not such a great start to that, as you can see, but that's no surprise to me seeing as how I am terrible at keeping my resolutions (working on that!)  Finally, I had enough and told myself I had to shoot.  It didn't matter to me what or where.  It didn't need to be perfect, just take that camera out if it's bag and take some pictures!! I will say, I take photos almost every day at work and I have a photo shoots outside of work already, but I cannot post that stuff.  I needed something "post worthy."  A friend of mine gave me a six-pack of glass Coca Cola bottles for a gift (LOVE!) and I knew I wanted to take photos of at least one of them before I drink them (if I drink them, I'm kind of a pack rat).  That idea sparked the rest.  If you didn't know, I'm engaged to be married to an awesome kick-butt guy named, Randy! I also have 6 weddings I am in or attending this year.  Needless to say, weddings have been on my mind A LOT! I decided to grab a bunch of things I own that are somewhat my wedding inspiration.  It might seem like strange things to inspire a wedding, but if you know me at all, (which I'm sure you all do) it makes sense.

Obviously, duh!

Christmas Lights & A Park

For a Christmas gift for Randy, I decided to surprise him and take him to Wheaton Arts in Millville, NJ to MAKE HIS OWN GLASS PAPERWEIGHT! He was so excited...like a little kid! These are not photos of him making his paperweight.  We had a little while before his appointment, so we walked around the area and inside the glass blowing studio and there were so many amazing photo opportunities! I cannot wait to go back for some more! I especially love the color in a lot of these photos and of course, the Christmas lights are a favorite! I had (almost) as much fun taking photos as Randy did making his paperweight! It was really a great day! Maybe on the next post I'll show you some of what Randy did this day too. Enjoy!
